May 17: One night only! Performance of Act4Murder's Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre production of Muscling in on Murder at the French Quarter Grill in Niceville, FL. What do a high-powered salesman, an inventor, a marketing guru, a big eater, a sound sleeper, a sex kitten, and a diet enthusiast have in common? The Bycle Cycle, an amazing new exercise device that is taking the fitness world by storm. How the cycle was invented is another story, however, and has a twisted ending that will make your muscles ache with laughter. Join Michael Bycle, Ian Ventor, Sheila Closit, Sue Flay, Matt Napper, Callie Katz, and Dan D. Diet as they bend, push, and pull their way through an intriguing night of exercise. And whoever said exercise will kill you… is right!
The play, written by local playwright Paula Hilton, stars Tiffany Smith, Mary Ann Averitte, Julie Shaw, Jim Downum, Joe Chase, Chris Manson, and Fraser Sherman. Choreography for the show was provided by the talented Rochelle Kimball.
The delicious 3-course dinner Includes:
Fresh Salad with Citrus Sesame Dressing,
Chicken Beaurigard, Mango Salsa Fish, or Crawfish Etoufee,
Bread Pudding,
Coffee, Iced Tea, Tax and Gratuity.
The doors open at 6:15pm, serving beer and wine, with the dinner and show beginning at 7:00pm. The cost is $50 per person, and includes the show, 3-course meal, tax, and gratuity.

June 9 - 20: Performing Arts Camp this summer!…….The Bay Theater Co. will be offering it's 10th annual youth performing arts camp for children ages 5-18 in Bay Minette, AL beginning Monday, June 9th. The camp runs Mondays - Fridays, June 9 - 20. Students will study TV and stage acting, technical theater and voice with Mrs. Stephani Newton, and will be afforded the opportunity to audition for the major production of "Annie" which will be performed July 31 - August 3. Tuition for the camp will be $150.00 per student (includes $25.00 NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee plus $125.00 for classes). They can only accept a certain number of students, so to reserve your child a place, call the Bay Theater Co. at 251-580-0346.

June 14, July 19, August 9: WSRE Cranks Up the Volume, Launches New Concert Series StudioAmped - First Concert Features Local Band Good Foote
At the request of viewers and fans of national PBS programs, like Austin City Limits and Soundstage, the local PBS television station, WSRE, is launching a new pilot project. StudioAmped will feature local artists/bands in concert at the station's performance studio. The performance will be taped and edited into a television series, which will air later this fall on WSRE.
The first season of StudioAmped features four artists in concert: Good Foote, May 10; 60 Cycles of Sound, June 14; Sadie Blu, July 19; and TBA, August 9. All concerts begin at 7:00pm. General Admission tickets are $7. Tickets can be purchased at WSRE in advance or the evening of the concert at the Amos Performance Studio ticket booth.
Good Foote, performing May 10, is best known for their funky, blues and soul renditions. Originally formed in 1999 as an acoustic duo with the name of "Full-On," today, the band consists of seven members who can be found playing nearly every weekend in the Pensacola Bay area at places like the Fish House, Seville Quarter and Capt'n Fun's. A major highlight for the band was opening for the Derek Trucks Band and Dickey Betts' (Allman Brothers founder) Great Southern at the 2002 SpringFest. Members include: Mark Ellis (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Josh Gill (lead guitar), Dick Boyden (slide and lead guitar), Mike Tipton (keys and organ), Rob Rudd Esq. (fretless bass), Derek "Slo Mo" Hayes (drums) and Stephen Moody (drums and percussion).
