We are also pleased to introduced the newest Jitterbug crew member, Jeffrey Speetjens, playwright and director of "Cleatus and Claire." Jeff Speetjens is a writer and director originally from the Gulf Coast. He studied theatre at the University of Montevallo and earned a BFA in directing and acting in 2004. He has spent the last two years in New York City directing theatre for children and adults with esteemed companies such as The Thirteenth Street Repertory Company, Another Urban Riff, Shalimar Productions, and the American Theatre for the Actors. Jeff recently returned to Baldwin County to be closer to his family and the beach. He has a beautiful blue-eyed Chocolate Point Siamese cat named Col Mittens. He rarely wears close-toed shoes and he loves the 90s. Jeff is thrilled to be working with Jitterbug Productions to bring Cleatus and Claire to life in his hometown.  www.jitterbugtheatre.com
