2008 - 2009 Season Schedule
Sordid Lives
by Del Shores Performances: October 3, 4, 5, 10,
11, 12 Synopsis: All kinds of skeletons leap out of the
closet when a dysfunctional Texas family is forced to come together for
granny's funeral. This is an encore performance of our 2004 hit that
Press-Register critic Lawrence F. Specker called "an uproarious comedy" that ran
"like a Swiss watch. The payoff, from a large and supportive audience, was
regular applause."
Kitchen Witches
by Caroline Smith Performances: November 14,
15, 21, 22, 23 Synopsis: You'll think you're on a reality
show when this clever comedy casts you as the studio audience of a
television cooking show. When the star chef's lifelong rival shows up
unexpectedly, the result is a food fight you'll never forget!
Hats: The Musical
Book by Anthony Dodge and Marcia Milgrom Dodge
Performances: January 30, 31, February 1, 6, 7, 8
Synopsis: Red Hat Society celebrates the Golden Years
with great songs by Carol Hall, Melissa Manchester, David
Friedman, Gretchen Cryer, Kathie Lee Gifford, Amanda McBroom and
others.
Kander & Ebb
Mayfest Performances:
May 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10 We don't know yet whether the rights
to the long-running Chicago will be
available this spring. If not, we'll do Kander & Ebb's other
musical comedy masterpiece, Cabaret, and
reschedule Chicago for next year. Either
way, you're guaranteed a night of show-stopping tunes written by two
of Broadway's best.
